This September Sue Ryder would love for you to fundraise for them and get involved with their Cake Off for the Duchess of Kent Hospice.
Whether you’re a budding baker or kitchen rookie, a baking party is perfect for bringing people together, and can easily be held at home, work, school or together with friends.
Their services cover West Berkshire from three sites: Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading, Wokingham Day Hospice and Charles Clore Unit in Newbury. They provide specialist end of life care, aiming to help people live as well as possible with the effects of their conditions by offering care, symptom management and support from a multi-professional team.
It costs £14,000 a day to keep each hospice going. Last year Sue Ryder provided 95,000 hours of care to people across Berkshire, but wish to help many more with the help of people like you. Every penny raised helps them. Please give Sue Ryder team a hand, and get involved!
To get involved please contact Hannah Griffiths via email or call 0118 955 0421 and you will be posted a free fundraising pack. Your Cake Off pack is bursting with ideas to make raising money for Sue Ryder simple and fun!
