Volunteer with Berkshire Scouts

Looking for local opportunities to give back to your community? We can help.

Berkshire Scouts is recruiting for a District Training Administrator and Local Training Manager as well as offering Leadership roles across the County. Volunteering with Scouts is fun and rewarding. It will give you the chance to use and develop your professional skills outside of the workplace and in a very different capacity; and in the process learn new skills! It looks great on your CV and can contribute to your professional development. You will meet new people and experience new things – not only will volunteering benefit the Scouts, it will benefit you too.
Berkshire Scouts supports Scouting in more than a hundred communities across Berkshire providing fun, challenge and adventure for more than 9,200 young people aged 6 to 25. We are supported by 2,500 adult volunteers. Our Groups provide children with the opportunity to participate in activities that fall outside of the school curriculum and develop skills that will support them throughout their lives.

Please take a look at our three role profiles for more information: Leader, Local Training Manager, District Training Manager.
